The Story Of Château De Lasfonds

Tracing its history back to the Napoleonic era, the land the château sits on was inherited by
Jacques Luce Lucien Janet de Lasfonds in 1844.

He initiated the transformation of the quaint hamlet into a splendid château in 1856. By
1861, the château had become the primary residence for him and his family along with their dedicated household staff.

Each guest room in the chateau is designed with a specific theme and provides a unique ambiance along with all necessary comforts.

The Continental Garden Room is a bright, north-facing room that offers a serene view of the garden, decorated with European antique furnishings, and comes with a king-size bed, wardrobe, desk, and air conditioning.

The Middle Kingdom Room is the most spacious on the second floor, featuring Chinese antique decor, a king-size bed, and a sofa bed suitable for two additional guests.

Lastly, the Commonwealth Room has a colonial feel, facing east to catch the rising sun, and includes similar amenities to the others, such as a king-size bed, wardrobe, desk, and air conditioning.
